Computer restarts, then wont boot???
When i restart the computer it will reboot but upon boot up it will be a black screen, but the monitor is recieving activity. But it seems to be restarting before it even gets to the bios screen. If you wait a couple minutes then it will boot. It shuts down fine and will start up fine after a shut down, but restarts mess up the boot process or somthing??? It have somthing to do with the pci video card i have in thier computer, but ive tried a couple different video cards in different slots and still nothing???
Anyideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I'd have to guess it's a faulty power supply. Possibly not giving out enough power to get everything going again after the reboot.
Doing a clear cmos on the mb would also be worth a try just to make sure nothing is messed up in there.

I'd try flashing the BIOS again or stripping the computer down to the bare essentials (vid card, hard disk, everything else taken out/disconnected) to see if it's one of them clashing/drawing too much power <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">

You could also do an F8 and create a boot log ts see where the hang up is.
If life is a bitch, then what is death? I believe that I will take the bitch...
