Freaking SLOW AHHHHHHHH!!!
These forums have been retardely Slow the last week or more, everyother Site I visit It is super fast on my DSL Connection is anyone else finding this.
I have deleted the Cookies for this forum and logged out and back in several times can any one help.
It is sometimes good for about 15 mins than it gets slow again.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

Yup. Usually if I exit the browser completely and then come back I can get it and it works ok for awhile. But I'm sure tired of the old 'page not available' crap....

It does that to me quite often as well. I thought it was us though as some other sites do that from time to time as well. One thing I found though. Usually ( though not always ) if you right click and open in new window a topic things seem to move a lot faster.

The site's seemed a little pokey here too, but it could be the fact that our network is still not fast or stable...

I believe DG and whoever is working on this. The forums themselves seem quicker but when you open a topic it can become very slow. I know its not my Internet connection.

no banner problem or page cannot be displayed messages.
Just fast for 2-3 minutes then super slow loading pages for 5 minutes . random timing. I've checked all the settings on my side of things.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

As of late the forums themselves load quickly. However getting into the forums is a freaking nightmare, I click on support forums and walk away. I then check back literally 3-5 mins. and then I'm in.

You mean that the daily topics page is not your Homepage?

Actually www.windrivers.com is my homepage, I like having tech news and slashdot topics right there when I open my browser. That's probably my favorite part of this site.

Loads slow for me also, sometimes topics load fast, but most of the time the whole forum / website seems to take forever to load. Must be due to the overwhelming new surfers to this site. I liked being able to view how many people were visiting, at least then I knew there was a reason for the slow download of pages.
The slow page load could also be the cause of a lot of double posts.
