Forums that will go bye bye....
In order to cut down on some of the forums, I'll be deleting some of the less used forums that don't really pertain to the techie side of things and are readily available bigger and better elsewher.
Those being deleted:
Hot Hot Deals
Computer Products
Computer Stores
Web Design
Site Review
I may also be combining one or two others and I will be changing the board over to vbullettin this week as I have done with the company forums...much faster.

To be oinest I think the company forums do nothing apart from been a "upgrade testing gorund", They are just so quiet!
Mabe if you got rid of them you might save some more $$$ <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

The company forums although quiet do not require registration, and there are always guests looking for links.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Another forum that you may want to consider is the DOS forum. it seems to be VERY quiet and is an almost unused OS. what questions there are could be taking care of in some of the other forums like tech to tech

Scott, speaking of company forums...since you are switching to vBulletin, there is a feature in there which lets unregistered users post in certain sections and not in others-- I'm not sure if UBB does this or not (last time I used UBB was back in 6.0 or something...) but maybe you could have like one or two sections for unregistered users to ask questions, and the rest are restricted to registered members, and just dump the company forums.
I liked Hot Deals, BTW.

& while you are at it could you sort the catergories out as well, I was thinking about 'office' all the versions, Techville & For techs only....

I actually like the Hot Deals columns. I've saved more than a couple of dollars following the links in that forum. It's like a forum full of great deals, or something.

Me too. If it wasn't for that forum, I wouldn't have a free Palm M100.

Thanks Scott.
