Error messages while posting

This has happened a few times.

I enter a large post. I have a few gramelins (is that the right word? Smiley faces...).

One is entered wrong. When I try to post, I get an error message, and I have to hit the back button.

Guess what, everything I typed is gone.

I know I could type it into notepad then cut&paste, but is there a way to auto save a post for when something like this happens? Sometimes I want to pull out my hair.

i was getting errors in all the forums.. then sudeny they stoped.. not sure what it meant here is what i got.. Is it me or everyone?

I haven't had that in a long time but it always happens on long posts.
