windows wont install cd driver
Hi
first off im a rookie at puters,but i want to install windows 95 on an old 486sx but after i put in the startup disk it says put in cd rom driver and type INSTALL but when i do that it says invalid command or file name can any of you guys help out a guy whos stressed . thanx

the win95 boot disk probably isn't loading a cdrom driver at boot...see if you can get a win98 or winme startup disk...either one will load a cdrom driver when it boots up...then you'll be able to access the cdrom and run setup from there
