Error message I get when posting messages
I get this message after I post a message on the "thank you for posting..." screen. It is below the bottom banner on the page. The message still gets posted though. just an FYI
Could not connect to server.
The server does not respond appropriately.. it may not be an SMTP server.

oh sorry, this happening when posting in Tech-to-Tech twice, once just a minute ago responding to a network problem and once responding yesterday to the starting a computer biz topic. It did not happen when I posted this topic. I don't know what info you need, i'm running win2kpro sp1 on athlon 700 system over cable modem.

Yes, it just recently started happening to me...in the last couple of days. But yeah, just wait a couple of more seconds and it does finally complete the post.
