Win XP
As XP finds it's way into more and more users hands...don't you think it's time for a WinDrivers Forums >> Windows XP section?

Not yet as it is still a Beta.
We will not be supporting any problems with it until it is finally released.
I hope you can understand this as legit MS beta testers should be able to get any problems solved by MS direct or file the problem as a Bug Report.

I run Windows XP.....but dont have questions reguarding the OS itself. I have some things I would like to ask regaurding games & other programs that run in Win XP. I think having a new forum would be great.

I would say that we wait until when It's finally released. You'd have trouble finding help where with a MS beta.

I agree with Darren, more than likely, if you have to resort to places other than the originator for support with a beta, than odds are your copy is not too legit, and we don't wanna deal with that here!

I have a MS Beta-Tester Original copy and it lasted 2 hours on my system before it came off!!!! Sorry but XP beta 2 gave me more BSODS and errors than ANY other MS Beta that I have got. Unless XP does not like Good hardware, and as u say 'sumstuff' that it works on your, I quote, "crappy hardware" with no problems, then it looks like PC-Chips still have life left in them I have installed it on 5 completely different systems now of varying specs, and all of them run ME and 2K stable as a rock, yet Whistler doesn't.
Unless MS do some drastic changes to the code then I will be sticking to Win2k.

I'm just a lucky guy, yeah i have the opposite effect than you have with xp,Strange
But if you go into the XP forums and add up the problems with xp compared to other winX products even at beta 2 level there seeems there are less problems than the previous os' win2000/98, and winxp is still only in early stages,im not going back to illegal operations and lockups anymore,so winxp might not be for some user but is a blessing for other users like me that has had enough of the crashes and incompatabilities of the older winx's and hardware!!
Best to stick with your old os people if your os works great now,but i'm an adventurous soul and like to climb mountains and winxp is a refreshing mountain to climb.
but winxp is not for the Newbie though, stick to old win os's unless you like a challenge
