 Ideas For New Forums
Hello WinDrivers, I have just signed up and I've noticed a lack in certain forums. How about adding:
- a FireWire board...as this technology gets more popular with Windows there are bound to be some questions about it!
- a Desktops board...it seems you have a laptops board so why not a desktops board?

I guess it'd make sense to add "& Firewire" to the USB forum.
Surely Desktop = NOT Laptop ??

Why a desktop when you have a forum for each OS along with each hardware category available for desktops already?...Along with a tech-to-tech forum to boot!

I think the firewire Idea has come up before and DriverGuy said no.
Desktops, I really don't see a need. We have plenty of forums.

many of the forums can be combined .. firewire could go to tech to tech to usb .. we have enuff forums .. i understand many of the users are newbies .. and dont know what firewire and usb and that are .. however if you smart enuff to come here (being the best place around) then you know what is what and know how to ask .. we have plenty of forums ..

I would simply combine Firewire and USB - but no need for a Desktop forum - as every forum is a desktop forum.

If we add more forums then we would have to reduce the font size to make it more managable. Last time Scott reduced the font size people shot him down. Sorry, but things are just right in aspect of the fourm situation now.

Add firewire to USB and don't add desktop 3fingersalute has a point.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

reduce the font to what it was when we first switched to ubb6.....j/k
