Another interesting new feature...
Everytime I disconnect or restart my machine and then connect and browse the forums, my username and password are not required as I'm already logged in. Is this another new feature, or is it just me?

Just you, that was an option all along. Something like: save this username and password for one year...

If it's just me, then why wasn't this happening before?
It wasn't related to cookies, as I haven't been deleting cookies from Windrivers. This is the first time I don't have to enter my username and password per browsing session!

Yes this is a new feature of UBB6, the UBB software has changed so that when you write new messages you don't have to enter your username and password each time. Instead you log-in once when you either first enter the board or try to make your first post.
Notice that there is no longer a field for username and password when you are writing or editing a post.

Maybe you selected the save name & password feature this time when you updated your profile and before you hadn't selected it!

I had selected the save option before, but I had to enter my username and password once per browsing session!
