    Post A7V133 Northbridge

    Quick question guys.
    I want to pull the HSF of the north bridge of my A7V133 and it looks like, short of destroying the little plastic clips, I have to remove the MB from the case and unhook it from behind.
    Could someone please confirm this, it may save me some work.
    I believe they don't put heat sink compound in there.

    You are correct. You will have to remove the motherboard from the mounting surface.

    If it does use thermal grease, then if you release the clips immed after shutting down, the grease should be warm enough to ensure safe removal.
