CDRW - WIN98 - BSOD
I've got a machine here that I'm trying to get a Ricoh 8x8x32 CDRW to work in. I hooked it up, and when I get into windows, it throws me a few BSODS right away (exception 0d at something in vxd ---.). If I disconnect the CDRW, it boots fine. If the CDRW is hooked up, and I boot from a boot disk (that loads cdrom drivers), it sees and uses the drive properly.
Any thoughts? Maybe a bios flash for the cdrw? I've never had this happen to me before.
Thanks.

Oh forget it. I played around with this thing, it's gotta be something screwed up in the firmware. I installed a brand new 24x CDRW in there and it worked perfect. Guess I'll just have to upsell the customer
