    Resolved [RESOLVED] d: = 2 cdrom's

    The situation is that I placed a cd-rw into my computer and now when I go into the properties of the d: i see in the hardware tab both the cdrom and the cd-rw.. how can i make the cd-rw=e:?

    btw this is win2k pro

    Do you have the cd drives on the same cable? Are the jumpers set correctly? If you are sure you have these things correct, you might try this:

    Right click on "My Computer">manage>disk management
    scroll dowd to the cd drives and right click on the drive in question and try to rename it.
    Note: To correct display problems, hold the "ALT"key and press"F4".
