I need an quote for my system.
Alright, I am in need of some money for college, and I am considering selling my high end system. I need feedback as to what the value would be on this system. I add up all the money "I" invested in it and the labor I performed and it seems a bit steep. I would like any and all feedback if possible. Thanks. Here's the system.

Voodoo 5 5500 64MB Video Card

If I were to buy that at the store I know that has best prices, I could get it for around $800-900.
Unfortunately, like most things in life, you never get what you paid for.
My first computer I bought my self was a Dual Pentium 120 on a Tyan Tomcat III motherbaord for $1500 in 1997. Three months later it was down to $899.

I can build that for right around 600 with winme . I am sure you paid much more for that however unless you can find some poor sap to pay too much for it I would just take the price you paid for it and half it. that would be market value. Thats just my opinion though. (being that I get really good deals from the vendor i go through used pc's are never a very good deal)

I agree that Ebay would be the way to go if you to maximize your money. You can get a rough idea what your pc is worth at this auction site .http://pics1.edeal.com/servlets/PcEval

Must be how Computer Renaissance over prices their machines. I should price my old 300 through there.

Agreed. If you know anyone who has never owned or priced a PC before, try to get what you can from them. Preferably someone you don't know that well and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER sell a PC to a friend or family member. That will spell the end of that relationship. They will blame you for every error message and BSOD that happens (even the ones caused by s**tware they DL from the internet. I speak from some experience on this.
