Post divxd vid to play on dvd

Looking thru some of these posts i think my question is answered, but; to make sure here is my
question: I have a divxed vid that i would like to be able to play on my dvd player connected to my television. Am i right in assuming if i get nero and make a vcd, i "should" be able to play it on my tv? I know my player has to be compatible yada yada yada, but is that all there is to it? Thx all

PS Is there something other then nero i can use? Nero is a little to large for my dial-up (10 mb) thru morp to download

If you need a convertor Tmpegenc would do the job.

Get it's latest version. It really rocks.

Have you ever heard of the term "cascading Compressions" ???
You really don't value the quality of the picture you have on your TV, Don't you

as it has been said, you would have to convert the mpeg 4 (divx) to VCD format, mpeg1 (352x288 i think) then burn it as a VCD via nero, this would make it maybe 2-3 discs, good luck, although what u are doing may be illegal.
