[RESOLVED] Overclocking PII233

I've a PII233 and a 440lx motherboard. Can i overclock it and how much can i overclock to?

You might be able to get it up to 275 or 300, depends on the board you have.

But IMHO, the gains in this case are not worth the risk since the P233 generates a lot of heat to begin with and overclocking it might cook it in it's own juices.

But check http://sysopt.earthweb.com/ocsurv.cgi and see what results other people have got with the processor and motherboard combo you have.

try using SoftFSB

there's no telling how much you can push it exactly all you can do is test it.
