Intel PIII 733mhz Flip Chip/Broken Pin

I have a PIII 733mhz flip chip with one broken off pin. Is there a way to fix this? Will it work without the pin? I have no clue I have never tried it in my computer. I guess I am too lazy or something. Or can I solder it and if I can with what do I use.

It's hard to say if a repair can be successful here. The area of contact is very small and solder is not strong. The best chance is if you can get someone to use a special low temperature silver solder on it, but who knows if it would be successful. It would have to be done quickly and accurately with a small, hot iron, and the flux meticulously removed afterward. Someone who makes their own metal jewellery may have the solder, but may not be confident about tackling a CPU.

if you could tell us or show us via a photo or diagram witch pin is missing we could check the data sheet to see if that pin is used and if there is a chance of salvation.
