I have a FIC 503+ MB running a K6 2 450--When i enable the USB in the system bios--everything works fine-except my sound.. I notice my sounds arent full they cut short of the full file... When i disable USB in the Bios--the sound works normal! I dont see any conflicts--and the IRQs seem to Jive fine... Any clues? Thanks!!!!

I have the same exact problem with a super7 board and an AMD K6-2 350 processor. I disabled my usb ports but I will need them in the near future. Let me know if there is a fix for this.

Hi!
You possibly have a shortage of resources causing the sound to cut out. Check out this MS patch for Win98 SE and AMD processors over 350 MHz. http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q240/0/75.asp
Would help to know your chipset in USB Controller in your Device Manager as well as your sound card.
Hope this helps.
