USB driver problems
I am trying to install my Creative webcam but looking in control panel / system / device manager in Win98se, the USB controllers have yellow exclamation marks next to them. I have tried to re-install the usb.inf file for these but that didn't make a difference and also why do I have two of these when I only have one new USB card?

Can you see the resources the USB controller is using? Or does is say it not present or not working properly.
Make sure an IRQ is reserved for USB in the BIOS, and if it's a VIA chipset, grab the VIA USB filter. Also, check www.usbman.com. Very good USB trouble-shooting/driver site.
Also, the _MTX Matrix virus can cause this behavior in USB controller drivers. Might be a good idea to update your virus protection and do a scan, if you haven't already.
