My USB drivers stink
I have been having problems with my usb port. I have a logitech quickcam and i plug it in with the drivers installed. It works for like 1 tiem then when i go to use it the second time it does not communicate with the device and it says Unknown device.
I think i might need new USB drivers. here are the specs

an SIS chipset on a AMI board
there are two usb ports on the back
It is a Trigem computer

SiS USB host controllers are considered USB "Problem Devices" and many known issues are associated with this host controller.
Try:
Cleanup Device Manager in SAFE MODE
Reboot and update the drivers for the USB host controller to Standard OHCI USB host controller (from the list of devices)
Disable USB Error detection.
