VIA problems with AMD Athlon 500 on K7M
I HAve an athlon 500 and was running Win98 SE. I purchased a Microsoft Intellimouse (with Intellieye) and plugged it into my USB port...my machine would boot up, work for a while, then hang. So i hunted and found the USB patch for SE. Still, the same problem ccured. I downgraded to Win98 (no SE) with hopes of correcting this problem. Now my computer will boot up and run for a longer period of time, but will still hang, usually after 20 min. As of today i have resorter to using the PS/2 adapter.
