    Unhappy USB Audio

I had my Windows 98 installed on a PC with Plug-N-Play USB audio speaker attached. After the reboot, I was asked to add new the new devices (plus USB as far as I can remember). At that time, I don't have all the necessary files available and thus cancelled mid-way in the process.

When I have the files ready after a reboot, the USB devices didn't seem to install correctly.

Is there a way to reinstall to fix the improper outcomes from the cancelled installation? Will a full Windows 98 reinstall safe and able to fix the problem?

Go to Safe Mode in Boot hit F8 chose Safe Mode.
Look in the device Manger for USB and your installed device.
Next if you dont see USB, reboot to the CMOS SETUP. look for USB ENABLED DISABLED. Well Enable it save & Exit CMOS SETUP. There You Go. Have a great Day!
