MCSA
Anyone have or heard of this cert? I'm looking at it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, its been out for a few months now. Take a look at this website and it will tell you all about the
<a href="http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/mcsa/mcsa_mcse.asp" target="_blank">MCSA</a> ....
Here are some other sites that have practise exams and tutorials for the MCSA.

Personally I think its a much needed cert. you only need to pass 4 exams to get this cert. Or just 3 and you can use comptia A+ and N+ or A+ and Server+ as ONE exam. i just have 70-218 to get my MCSA plus you can continue for MCSE.

I haven't yet met anyone to actually get get this cert, although I've read it's really taking off. I'm considering as a transition point in upgrading my NT MCSE. It requires one extra exam, and that exam seems to have a lot of overlap with the others. I'd love to hear from someone else who's actually got it.

HIESLanMan, I'll go take it for you. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
I've got my 2000 MCSE (passed the accelerated last February) so I guess all I need 70-218. I've read the "skills being measured" and it looks amazingly easy.

Well I started the classes yesterday. It's kind of like a 'way station' to your MCSE. 4 tests, the same as the first 3 core and 1 elective of MCSE, then you get your MCSA. Then if you choose, you can then take 3 more to get the MCSE. I've decided to do the class, then tey the last 3 tests through self-study. If you'd like, I can keep you posteds as to how they go.......

MCSA is a great cert, I plan to get it
The great part is again that you can use that 70-218 exam as an MCSE 2k elective.
Right now I am taking the 244 exam, so I can finish (finally, been lazy and alot of procrastination) my MCSE in NT 4. You can still get the NT 4 MCSE, if you have the cores passed already.
