when i took the A+, there where more win98 questions than anything else, there was just a couple of DOS questions and a few 95 questions and maybe one win 3.x question. and i took it 6 months ago.

Instead of shelling out money for A+ Certification you could do what I did. Get a job with a computer manufacturer that will hire you with little experience and work there 2-3 years. Even if you can work part time for little or no pay and keep another job the experience is worth much more than a certificate. I should know. I'm starting this month working for the County government in Info Services with 3 1/2 years experience and no A+ certificate and a 11K raise. There's nothing wrong with education and I applaud your *****ion. I have a associate degree in Computer Science but it didn't open any doors. Employers want experience. Good luck to you, my friend!

It's actually getting easier,it is going to "adaptive" which is going to be depending on the person testing,10 to 30 questions.

Actually, here's the specifics of the changes as far as I know:
DOS and Win3.x disappearing. Same with customer satisfaction.
Added will be Win98, WinNT4 Workstation, and basic Linux. I think they're still deciding about Win2K and ME.
