    Does my A+ from 1999 / 2000 still count?

I was curious. I haven't done any CompTIA certs in a long time, and I will be taking the Network + by years - end. Do you think CompTIA still has records from back then?

Yes, your A+ is for life...
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Holy Necropost! Actually, certifications earned prior to Jan. 1 2011 remain lifetime certifications. Certifications awarded after that date must be renewed every 3 years.
