Post how to denigh access to IE!

Hi All, We have a girl who likes to surf the net rather than do her work, how can I denigh access to IE on her machine only??
    PIII 550, win2k, proxy 2 10/100ethernet.
She must have access to the server for our data base, email and faxing software, so removing the lan won't do.

    she has domain user access.

    Thanks in advance...

    Yoshie

You could try using ZoneAlarm, and then setting it up so that Internet access is shutoff, hopefully she is not software savvy...click here to download zonealarm (firewall protection)

Good Luck...this is probably one way of many to stop her...or at least slow her down.

Point her DNS server to 127.0.0.1 - that'll fix 'er.

...And then use the policy editor to restrict the network control panel so she can't change it back! LOL Obviously this won't stop her from typing in IP addresses but the vast majority of users aren't savvy enough to know this.

You say your using a proxy? Delete the proxy settings or put in bogus proxy settings and that should take care of it.
