Does win2k work smooth with laptop?
Does win2k work smooth on Compaq Armada 100S with AMD 533 and 64 megs of ram?

I wouldn't recommend it, since the memory isn't enough for W2K.

w2k works fine on a laptop with 64 ram ,little slow but fine

since 64 megs of ram is the min I would say yes use it but it is going to be dog slow so I really wouldn't use it.

Pump up the RAM to at least 128M (although more would be even better!), and you've got yourself a winner!
2000 ran acceptably on my Sony P-266 laptop with 196M of RAM, and it positively flies on my HP PIII-750 laptop with 256M.

Geeeez, some people are tough to please !
We have about 300 laptops, PI and PII, most running under 500mhz, none with mor3e than 64m Ram and all work fine with Win 2K.
It is true, the more ram, the better, but for
the average user on those not so powerfull machine, it is aplenty.
(of course, I've got 128m in mine)

64mb is pushin it, but you should be fine. If you get ahold of another 64mb, you'll be smooth sailin
