Compaq CD Rom Drivers

Help. I tried to install Win 98 to my laptop. but it was too old... would not take. I already formatted my hard drive so I lost my win 95. I have a compaq laptop and my CD Rom is a LTE5280, where can I get the soft ware for it so I can re-install my windows 95? Can anyone help me??? Please? [email protected]

I don't really understand your problem with going to Win98...you said it was too old...it the CD too old?
