    Resolved [RESOLVED] I need a DRIVER!!

    I am working on a friend's PAC-BELL486/66
    and I need the drivers for the CDrom. It's PANASONIC CR-563-B. Can't seem to find this. Please help.

    There are quite a number of places on this site where you can find that driver... But, here's another way. Go to support.packardbell.com and click on System Information. Then enter the serial number of the sticker on the pc. It will give you a list of the hardware in the machine, and links to drivers for the whole kit and kaboodle...

    creative double speed cdrom was cr563b
    this is a MKE-panasonic interface CDROM and will NOT work as IDE I have ct1810 interface card but many sound blasters also work
    also audio cable is panasonic pinout

    you can also get drivers at panasonics website 56x_dos and 56x_w95

    did you try creative SBCD.exe or SBCD4.22?
