[RESOLVED] Hidden desktop
I cannot see the desktop. It is hidden behind the wallpaper. What I meaen is that the wallpaper that initally shows at startup continues to stay on top. The system is set to autologin so if I do ctrl+alt+del I can run task manager and run most any program except for I/E. Outlook express will run and dial up. There are four stations on the network and they all have access to this system plu ICS. This has service pack 1 installed. I cannot access display properties, but I did go into the regestry and change the wallpaper and background to none, but now my "none" setting is on top.
Is this a known problem? A virus/worm?
Norton A/v 2000 is installed with a 2 week old update.
Any suggestion will be appreciated!!!

COuld it be that you have active desktop activated? If you right click on desktop, then go to active desktop, you will see show icons. Make sure it is checked or disable active desktop.
