[RESOLVED] is there a way to reboot NT automatically?
I was wondering if there was a way/utility that I can use to reboot the winNT server automatically or @ scheduled times?
thanks

There used to be an old DOS utility called REB.com, which simply rebooted the machine. It may well work with NT from the DOS prompt, but it would reboot impolitely (ie. not by shutting down first), so you may find that scandisk would cut in on startup.
I don't know where you may find this 1980's prog now though. If you desperately need to try it, I may have it somewhere, let me know.
Rudders.

You can use the shutdown.exe file from the res kit to do this.
All you have to do is include the /r switch in the batch file
