    Post Soyo K7VTA onboard sound

    I have been unable to disable the onboard sound on my new mobo. I disabled it in the BIOS, but when installing Windows, it is detected. After installing drivers, it is working, but is not very good quality. Iwant to install my old soundcard, but the onboard will not turn off. Any suggestions?

    PS there is no jumper on the board related to the sound.

    After disabling it in the Bios, Disable it in the control Panel(through the Properties) then Install your old Sound Card.
    I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.
