    Post W2K and 4x4 changer

    Does anyone know how to make a 4x4 cd changer function as 4 drives under Windows 2000? I can only get it to work as a single drive. Any Ideas or solutions?

    Microsoft has this to say about it:

    Knowledge Base Article Q227425.

    Basically they say that if its not detected as a changer or not on the hardware compatability list, it'll only show up as a single drive, although you can change which disk is in use through the removable storage section of the Computer Management MMC (details are in the above article).
