my cd burner doesnt work!!!!
hi
i have matchita cd-rw7688, currently using
adaptec's easy cd creator ver.4.3 and it used to work fine for weeks and, now when i copy a cd to a cd, it crashes and comes out with errors but it seems to work when i copy from my hard drive to the cd. i think the cd-rom and cd-rw is not working together. i have
no idea what would have caused this prob.
its been not working from last week
Please help
Thank you

Need more info - what errors does it throw up. If they were buffer underruns then I would be inclined to say check your cabling and defrag your HDD, but I can't help any further without more info! Virus scanners can also cause major headaches with CD->CD copies.

Have you tried to copy using a lower burning speed option? What are the CD-ROM and CD-RW models?

Gotta "restore defaults" button?
Exit all other programs and turn as tasbar items as possible off b4 burning.
I'm in charge and I say we blow it up

This is one of the reasons I reccomend that our customers invest in NERO as it handles underruns and speed differentials much better. How much virtual mem do you have. Have you installed anything around the time that it started giving you errors.
