Microsoft have released a new tool that will scan your pc and show installed updates and also recommended updates with info on security issues.
I've been there once but can't find it again, anybody know the page?

Stay up to date with security patches at <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/security" target="_blank">http://www.microsoft.com/security</a> I'm not sure which tool you want but <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/itsolutions/security/tools/tools.asp" target="_blank">here</a> is the link to the security tools. Use at your own risk.

Also try here <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/technet/mpsa/start.asp" target="_blank">Microsoft Personal Security Advisor (MPSA) </a> . Here is also a comprehensive article explaining the MPSA.<a href="http://www.win2000mag.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=22234" target="_blank">Ensure System Security</a> . Just realize that it is only good on workstations, and not servers. Enjoy.

Or, once you're online just click Tools/Windows Update on your tool bar in Internet Explorer--it'll take you right there.
