How do I move shares from one server to another without loosing the security and permissions on them

As long as you have administrator privileges, you should be able to move/copy shares anywhere without losing the permissions/securities. As long as the servers are using the same OS. For example, copying shares between Win2K and WinNT servers or something may cause problems. In that case, you may have to remove the permissions/securities before moving then reenable them after. Need more details on what exactle your running.
