    Resolved [RESOLVED] Restore CDs.

    Hello people. If I format c:, will I be able to install win 2000 and still be able to use my restore CDs? All I really want is Word and a few other bits.

    With my IBM at the office, the gave us "Product Recovery CD's". They were junk. I had to go buy a Win2k CD.

    Before you attempt this operation you should make the 4 Win2k install/boot disks. If they gave you individual software cds you should have no problem loading them. You will definitely need a stand-alone copy of 2k, the restore cds are a modified vendor version.
