[RESOLVED] When I try to copy a CD from my EIDE CDrom to my scsi rom CD Copier Deluxe crashes

Can some please help me my setup is otherwise fine. I can copy from ny hard drives perfectly but not from my lg goldstar 16 speed max 810b cd rom.

Any ideas.

Current System:
ABIT BH6
Celeron 400
STB Velocity 4400 16MB AGP
128MB PC100 Ram
ADAPTEC 2904CD SCSI CARD
TEAC CD-R56S-600 6x24 CD Writer
Maxtor Diamond 2800 UDMA 33
LG Gold star 16xMax CD-ROM

try copying at single speed on the fly and see if it works then. If so then I would replace the IDE CD with a SCSI drive such as a PLextor 40X and you will then see it work perfectly. It is caused by IDE CD-ROMS not being able to keep up a sustained data transfer to the SCSI controller, therefore when the buffer in the CD Burner empties it cannot continue therefore causing buffr underruns and such like.

Well it does what I really bought it for, i.e to back up data from my computer.
