MMC error with Win2k Server

Has annyone ever had a error stating the following:
"MMC failed to open..." when trying to open any object in the Administrative Tools folder? This is really ticking me off, because I can't update the Active Directory or anything. Help please!

You'd probably have to consult the microsoft's knowledge base. Usually you get the best result using whatever error message it comes up on the screen.
