lost user accounts

Hi all, I have a weird one for you, One of my machines has had all but one account removed from it, including the admin account. now I cant do a thing with this pc, the only account left has virtually no rights at all.

Is there a way to get the admin account back or is it a case of format c:\

Quickest solution, imo, is to run a virus scan with the latest viri definitions and then re-install the OS without formatting.

Reinstall without formatting?? Personally, I don't like that idea. If you can, I suggest to back up all you have on the hdd and run a clean install of the OS.
