    Wink Device Error??

I am relatively new to using Windows 2000. I have one problem that is stumping me badly. I have a USB Zip 250 and about 15 minutes after I boot up, I get an error message stating that the request couldn't be performed due to an I/O device error. It is plugged directly into the computer, I have downloaded all the latest motherboard drivers for my Abit-kt7 board and the latest version of Iomegaware. Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this??

    Thanks

Have a look in event viewer (under system tools i think) and find the entry saying device error. Examine the entries before and after the device error to see what was going on.
If there's any further information, post it and maybe someone with more knowledge than I will be able to help.
