Compaq Presario 1075 HDD size

Anybody got a clue on how big a hdd you can stick in this laptop. I would like to get a 6.0gb into it if I can. It came with a 1.4gb. Thanks

Don't know for sure but you *should* be able to put up to an 8GB in it.

But remember all the times you've screwed with Compaqs. You really never know untill you try. I think with a presario notebook the bios is still on that small partition and you are probably gonna have to rely on a softpaq or setup disk for it to work right.
