Laptop
Having trouble getting inside a Toshiba Satelite 110CS Laptop one of the staff has broke the power button and its fell inside laptop, taken off all screws even removed hard disk the only screws left are the ones in the screen dont wanna force it as it seems to be caught on something else any ideas, do i have to take screen to bits (dont think so?)

you do not need to take the lcd apart to get in the notebook. remove the keyboard. under it you will find 2-3 more screws. remove those, dis connect any cables immediatly visible under the keyboard and the rest of the shell should come off. you may have to remove 2 screws from the rear of the unit as well (if you haven't already)

the keyboard is usually secured by screws that are hidden beneath a removable panel at either the top or bottom of said keyboard

Be careful - you may also wish to remove the screen - the hinge covers should remove revealing two screws - remove the screws and the screen comes loose - then you can remove the screen and put it aside.

Be extra careful with this - I don't know how much experience you have with laptops; but at work my co worker put a tiny, almost invisible nic in the ribbon between the panel and the board it plugs in to, and it didn't work. had to order a new one at no cheap cost. Good luck

Any body any good with Viglen Dossier (486) machines ?
Handed one by a mate but appears to be cooked - no life whatsoever !?!
