Compaq Presario Integrated modem
I need a modem driver for a compaq presario 1650. The modem is built into the motherboard. The compaq web page doesn't have it. Does anyone have this or know where I can get it?
Thanks

Hi,
Go here:
http://web14.compaq.com/falco/sp_lis...0&cat=Notebook
About half way down the page is a modem V.90 upgrade...looks like it ought to work for you.
Let us know...Good Luck!

I have already been to the link you sent. That is for an upgrade if you have the original driver so that won't help me.
Thanks

Did you try it? It looks like it has a Setup.exe file that should install the drivers for you...might be something to check into.

I had a similar problem with the Presario 1630 and the only operating system that i found would sort the problem itself was WIN ME, it is now working a treat !
Original drivers worked under 95 but I fouled up my drive image.
<I should have been shot for not checking it before wiping my drive !>
