    invalid boot ini

    Hello guys. Im running xpsp2 on my inspirion 5160. Every time my laptop boots up it gives me this message: Invalid Boot Ini C:\Windows and then XP SP2 comes up as normal. Can someone tell how to remove this boot error?

    after the computer boots, go to start/run and type in msconfig
    hit enter
    on the msconfig box, click the boot.ini tab
    click the check all boot paths radio button
    follow directions, click apply, and then ok
    should take care of it
