    Probably your only simple solution is to add a RAM card, but that's gonna cost you some $ and you're probably going to have to special order it.

    It's pretty easy to put in a new hard drive...just open the case, snap out the IDE cables, replace old with new, and reverse process.

    Also, RAM is very easy and cheap to add in, Compaq uses standard memory but I'd go to Crucial.com first.

    Also, make sure you have Windows 2000 on it.
