    Question issue with display

I am working on an OmniBook that has an issue with the display(in 800x600 mode the display is 1-2in from the sides of the screen. I posted this in the display section but have yet to receive a response so I thought I would try here. Any ideas?

First make sure that the drivers are installed right, and if they are see if you have the latest version. Make sure the color is set to 16bit not 256 colors.. then try doing it again.. I had this same problem on an omnibook. hope it helps..

I know that I posted a solution in another thread with the same problem, to solve the problem, so I shall post the same here.

Change the Monitor type (not display resolution) to LCD 800X600 and the gaps will dissapear. The current settings are obviously set for a res of 1024x768.

    This always works.

Agree with Rocco, You are dealing with transistors now and not with a raster image
