My boss just had another great idea.....
He wants to be able to save excel files and PDF's etc. to his palm pilot so when he's in meetings with other bigwigs they can beam the files back and forth.
We have mostly palm v's and use the standard Palm Desktop software along with Intellisync, but I haven't had any luck finding an option to save files or any documentation on how to do it. Anybody else ever been asked to do this or have a clue on how to go about this?

Try these links for PDF readers: here and here.
And try thisfor MS Word.
I haven't used any of these, but I would imagine it would suck trying to read a PDF or Word or Excel file on a tiny LCD screen. Let alone EDITING one!

I've got a Cassiopeia, and while I wouldn't recommend trying to write a novel or doing your entire company's financials on it, the Pocket Word and Pocket Excel are adequate for most Word and Excel docs. Flat .txt files are the worst, since the line breaks are usually in weird places.
It's prolly the same for the Palm.

Also try mobipocket.com for more software as well as free books (reference and other) designed for the Palm.
