need LCD screen for Dell Inspiron 3500
Okay, here's my dilema. the boss wants to replace the LCD screen for the Dell Inspiron 3500. its a 14.1" screen. I've gone to Dell and it will cost around $900!!!!! i've done a search for the part #7797D (lcd screen),but no luck. anyone know where i can find that part, only cheaper. any web site or anything, thanks.
I think the problem is either an ID10T or PEBCAK error

Have you checked ebay? Or gone directly to the manufacturer of the screen?

Yeah, LCDs are expensive. Once a while back a guy I knew bought a $1500 laptop. Screen died 7 months later, and the screen was going to cost him $945. I told him to buy a new one.
