    Post laptop batteries

at my work, we bought some ibm thinkpad laptops. one had a battery that was either left with a charge too long, or sat without one for too long. well anyway, the battery won't hold a charge. is their anything that we can do to get it to work, or do we have to get a new one.

BTW, i cleaned the contacts on both the battery and laptop to ensure a good connection, but to no avail. the battery will not work in any of the laptops.

You can try a conditioner - purchase from Radio Shack, however I would not hold my breath - BTW - Is the battery swelled? When some cells go bad they swell - if the baddery has swelled - it is bad and should be tossed.
Death is lighter than a feather - duty heavier than a mountian.
