Resolved [RESOLVED] System information will not start

I think I may have removed a file needed to start the system information utility. when i go to the executable it starts as a help window and says that the page cannot be dispalyed. I was doing some clearing out on the startup progs in the registry and maybe i deleted the wrong thing. Anyone any ideas? <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

Could be as easy as installing Windows over top of itself.
Because I take it your did not backup before cleaning up.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

If you messed up with the registry, chances are restore command is your best friend.

At boot hit the f5 key or whatever key gets you to safe mode Once there use system restore to revert to a time before you lost that file.
